Report on the 19th Deutschsprachiger Japanologentag

To mark the centenary of Asian Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt, the university hosted the 19th Deutschsprachiger Japanologentag (German Conference on Japanese Studies) at the Interdisciplinary Centre for East Asian Studies (IZO).The Institute of Japanese Studies at FAU was also represented: Prof. Dr. Ayaka Löschke and Fumie Iso-Haubner had the opportunity to present their ongoing research projects. Both presentations attracted considerable interest and gave rise to lively discussions with the audience. We sincerely thank all those involved for their valuable contributions.
